WHAT: BR&F Family Works Event, Brunch and Concert
WHERE: TiCO, 222 Berkeley St., Boston, MA

MUSIC STARTS AT: 11am and we'll play approximately one hour.
COMPLIMENTARY: Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and juice.
BRUNCH: TICO will be offering their full brunch menu as well as a special kid's menu featuring Silver Dollar Pancakes, French Toast, Chicken Fingers, Grilled Cheese and more.

The BR&F Family Works! event will begin at 10am and continue until 11am. You can drop in and participate at any point. We recommend arriving by 10:15am or 10:30am to have time to participate without feeling rushed.
....will benefit: Solutions At Work - provide transitional assistance for homeless.
...please bring: We are collecting new and gently used children's coats, hats, mittens and scarves.
...activity will be: Catching Joy! will lead an activity table where kids can use their crayons, creativity and care to make cards to go along with the donations.

WHAT ELSE: TICO is the winner of Esquire Magazine's Best New Restaurants in America 2011! I had lunch there and the food is very, very, very good! There is plenty of room for this event at the restaurant!
WHAT ELSE, WHAT ELSE: We've worked with Catching Joy before. Joy and her organization are the gold standard for the term up-and-up. We're thrilled to be working with them again.

This show is being put on by the Reading Newcomers and Neighbors Club. - We played this winter vacation, fundraiser event last year and it was impressively run, the school and auditorium were top notch and good energy radiated throughout. If you have the day off, by all means come to the show! Proceeds from the show purchase a pass to the Museum of Science for the Reading Library.

92Y Tribeca, 200 Hudson St., New York, NY - 11am - Joining us will be Kenny Kosek on fiddle. Quite simply, Kenny is a great fiddler. Among an outstanding musical resume of recording with James Taylor, David Byrne, Chaka Kahn, Willie Nelson, and John Denver, Kenny first hit my radar when he was a member of Jerry Garcia's Acoustic Band back in 1987. Check out Kenny's website. This is going to be something special.

Bedford, MA - St. Michael's Church, 90 Concord Road - This is a concert to benefit the LEAP School of Bedford, MA. We've done a couple of these shows previous and it's a great community to play for.

March 10 Saturday
Winchester, MA - This is a show for the Family Action Network (FAN) of Winchester at Gifford Hall - Crawford Memorial United Methodist Church, 34 Dix Street, Winchester, MA - Show time is 11am - Admission is free for FAN Members, $8 for non-members. Watertown, MA - 11:30am - Watertown Middle School, 68 Waverly Ave., Watertown, MA - We're playing as part of the Watertown Family Networks Early Childhood Information Fair. The fair runs from 9:30am until 11:30am and features information on local services for children birth through eight years of age. - We start playing at 11:30am.

Belmont, MA - 11am - Benefit for the Belmont Cooperative Nursery School, 421 Common St., Belmont, MA 02478 - The school is located in, but is not affiliated with the Belmont United Methodist Church. - In addition to our set of music, there will be a silent auction, baked goods, pizza, chocolates, ballons with prizes and general hoopla. This sounds like a real good time and we hardly ever (ever, ever) get to play in Belmont.

Tickets:Will likely be available on the school's website or call the school at 617-489-3259 and ask for Caroline. If purchased in advance, tickets are $16 family max or $6/child, $8/adult. If purchased at the door on the day of the show, tickets will be $20 family max or $8/child, $10/adult. (Phew!)

Winchester Town Day Block Party - 6:30pm > 9:00pm - 30 Mt. Vernon St., Winchester, MA - For the past couple of years this has been an unbelievably fun show. On the eve of Winchester Town Day, we set right in front of the Fire Station in downtown Winchester. It's early June, the mood is fantastic and lots and lots of people dance in the street. Plus we get to play two long sets. This is highly recommended!

Verril Farms - 11 Wheeler Road, Concord, MA - Strawberry Festival! - This show was an absolute highlight of last year. We're looking forward to a return blast.

June 24 Sunday
Granite State Music Festival - Concord, NH - 10am - This looks to be a GREAT festival in a beautiful location in Concord, NH. More details to be announced as they develop.
